We are looking for someone to train to take the next step to become a Finance Manager. The role will initially be looking at the income side of the ledger and to work under the current Finance Manager to take over full responsibility over a given period depending on the ability of the candidate.
The company is a group of GP Practices, however there is no requirement to have previously worked within this sector as full training will be given
Requirements
Level 3 AAT and above
5 Years experience in Finance/Accounts
Hands on knowledge of both purchase and sales ledger
Working understanding of payroll, pension and HMRC TAX and NIC
Able to complete accounts to TB
Nominal review
Complex Journal creation and intercompany reconciliation
Understanding of balance sheet and balance sheet reconciliation
Understanding of cashflow
Understanding of budget setting
Understanding of forecasting
Ability to understand the connection between purchasing and purchase ledger, and to be involved in purchasing
Ability to understand the connection of income flow and income generation with sales ledger, and to be involved in Income generation
Not essential - Xero experience
Qualifications
level 3 AAT
5 years' experience working in a Finance/Accounts Department
Qualities
Must have enthusiasm and be able to communicate on all levels, will be required to have the ability to look at the company to improve performance.
