Are you a proactive finance professional with a broad skill set, ready to support our team?
We are looking for someone adaptable and hands-on, with experience across finance operations, management reporting, reconciliations, process improvement.
The successful candidate will:
assist in the financial control and management of a number of academies
assist the Finance Manager in developing best practice across the Trust, driving improvements and acting as a temporary resource that can be called upon in the absence of the Finance Manager
Essential
Knowledge of the financial requirements placed on Academy Schools
Working towards an accountancy qualification and/or qualified by experience
A clear understanding of how Finance can support the desired outcomes of the organisation
Ability to provide guidance, advice and direction to non-financial colleagues to ensure compliance with financial procedures, policies and the Scheme of Delegation
DesirableExperience of producing accurate financial reports to deadline
Able to work flexibly including regular travel across the Trust, according to the needs of the role
