Join Close Brothers Premium Finance Team where you will support in the preparation of monthly reporting for the Premium business through completion of financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, regulatory reporting, process improvements and ad-hoc projects. It is also expected that they will play a role in supporting the interim and year-end audits, and completion of year end packs.


The Assistant Financial Accountant will also perform a number of administrative tasks as required.

RESPONSIBILITIES



Prepare, post, reconcile and maintain various schedules, including accruals, prepayments and fixed assets. Play a key role in organising loan book funding and call account balance management. Manage the Software House Commissions process through the month, working effectively with key stakeholders. Manage the IFRS 16 car lease process with Central, the Fleet team, and other divisions. Manage the cost recharge process for our Irish entity Premium DAC and well as subsequent intercompany settlements.

WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE/ARE:



Advanced IT skills, particularly Excel ("vlookups", "sumifs" and competent at working with large sets of data) Ability to work productively with people at all levels in the organisation Ability to pick up new skills and tasks quickly Able to work on own initiative or with others on tasks with minimum supervision in the long-term Able to demonstrate ownership of their tasks and suggestions for improvement Self-driven and ambitious Applicants should be studying or prepared to study professional accountancy qualifications at CIMA / ACCA level

IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE:



SAP experience or knowledge would be a bonus but not essential Experience in using Alteryx is desirable
