Assistant Finance Controller

Key Responsibilities



Financial Planning & Analysis

: Partner with Regional Finance Controllers and hotel teams to support rolling forecasts, weekly financial reporting, and budgeting. Provide variance analysis and identify trends to guide strategic decisions.

Accounts Support

: Ensure accuracy and efficiency across accounts payable and receivable processes. Liaise with hotel departments to maintain smooth workflows and resolve outstanding queries.

Cost Control & Efficiency

: Review expenses, drive cost-saving initiatives, and collaborate on payroll efficiencies.

Compliance & Controls

: Support audit preparation, enforce robust internal controls, and ensure adherence to statutory obligations.

Reporting Excellence

: Contribute to month-end reporting packs including P&L, balance sheets, and revenue reports. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.

Stakeholder Engagement

: Provide data-driven insights to department heads and senior leaders. Support ad hoc reporting and analysis requests.

Operational & Environmental Standards

: Maintain a secure and compliant financial environment in line with company procedures and regulatory requirements.

Team Collaboration

: Support finance team operations during absences and contribute to training and development initiatives.

Project & Travel Involvement

: Participate in finance improvement projects and travel to properties within the cluster for onsite reviews, audits, and team collaboration.

What We're Looking For



Strong finance knowledge with hotel or hospitality experience preferred Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel A proactive and solution-focused mindset Commitment to guest-focused service excellence
