Salary: \xc2\xa370,000 - \xc2\xa380,000 p.a + annual bonus

Contract: 40 hours a week Monday - Friday + 25 days holiday + 8 days bank holiday + Pension, Life Assurance & Private Healthcare

Your new role:

Working closely with the Financial Controller this is a broad role covering many areas of finance including:

  • Leadership: Manging a small team coaching and mentoring them for success
  • Management Accounting: Responsibility for all aspects of treasury and property accounting
  • Balance Sheet Control: Preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations including resolution of outstanding items
  • VAT Compliance: Preparation and submission of monthly VAT returns for UK and Ireland
  • Process Improvement: Continuous improvement of processes and systems
  • Reporting: Monthly consolidation and group reporting to US parent company
  • Relationship Management: Working with senior management, Finance and the wider group in the UK, Ireland and USA.
Your CV & Style:
  • Previous experience working within a similar role is essential
  • Industry experience is desirable
  • People focused manager who is a natural leader, upskilling and mentoring their team for success
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CA / CIMA)
  • Good working knowledge of VAT compliance requirements in the UK, knowledge of VAT in Ireland an advantage
  • Strong IT skills including good knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Vlookups & Pivot Tables)
  • Proactive, self-starter whose attention to detail is excellent, driving tasks through to conclusion
  • You will have a passion for continuous improvement to support and drive the business forward
  • Excellent work ethic, reliability, coachability and a positive attitude
Due to time zones differences across the UK and USA this role sometimes requires outside UK working time to be able to speak with our USA parent company and their teams.
