Previously a nurses home, the hotel sits within Charterhouse Square in Farringdon. A large green and leafy courtyard, mostly formed of Tudor and Stuart architecture restored after the London Blitz. Whilst located in the calm surroundings of a mainly residential square, you can hear the bells ringing in Great St Bart's and the bustle of Smithfield Market, one of the oldest markets in London. The capital of England and the United Kingdom, a 21st-century city with history stretching back to Roman times. At its centre stands the imposing Houses of Parliament, the iconic 'Big Ben' clock tower and Westminster Abbey, site of British monarch coronations. The list of attractions is endless.
