Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Assistant Football Coach to join our club. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head Coach to develop and implement training programmes, strategies, and tactics that enhance the performance of our players. This role requires a passion for football, strong leadership skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire athletes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the Head Coach in planning and conducting training sessions that focus on skill development, fitness, and tactical awareness.

- Support the preparation of the team for matches, including analysing opponents and developing game strategies.

- Provide individual coaching to players to improve their technical skills and overall performance.

- Monitor player progress and provide feedback to both players and coaching staff.

- Foster a positive team environment that encourages teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.

- Assist in the recruitment and development of players within the club.

- Attend all training sessions, matches, and relevant meetings as required.

- Collaborate with other coaching staff to ensure a cohesive approach to player development.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in coaching football at a competitive level is preferred.

- A relevant coaching qualification (e.g., FA Level 2 or equivalent) is essential.

- Strong understanding of football tactics, techniques, and fitness training.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
