We are looking for an experienced and reliable gardener to assist with the upkeep and development of residential and commercial gardens. You will work closely with our team to ensure our clients' gardens are well-maintained, healthy, and visually appealing.
Key Responsibilities:
Lawn care, mowing, and edging
Planting, pruning, and caring for flowers, shrubs, and trees
Weeding, mulching, and maintaining garden beds
General garden maintenance, including watering and fertilizing
Maintaining garden tools and equipment
Identifying and managing pest and disease control
Advising clients on garden improvements and plant care
Ensuring all health and safety standards are followed while working in gardens
Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience in gardening or landscaping
Knowledge of horticultural practices and plant care
Strong attention to detail and a love for outdoor work
Ability to use gardening tools and equipment safely
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good physical stamina and ability to work in varying weather conditions
A valid driver's license (if required for travel between sites)
Desirable:
Qualifications in horticulture or landscaping (e.g., NVQ, RHS certification)
Experience with garden design or landscaping
First aid training
