A fantastic opportunity has arisen within the Gastrointestinal (GI) Services Division at UCLH for enthusiastic and motivated Assistant General Managers to join a well-established and supportive leadership team. Reporting to the General Managers, you will work closely with the Clinical Leads and senior nursing staff to ensure the delivery of high quality patient care through the efficient use of resources.
We are looking for dynamic, motivated and talented Assistant General Managers to join the GI Services team.
The successful candidates will have strong operational management experience and will be expected to provide operational leadership for their department. Candidates should have experience of working closely with multidisciplinary teams, leading service developments, data management and staff management. We are looking for a leader who can demonstrate effective communication skills, team working, excellent problem solving abilities and strong values based in line with the UCLH Trust values.
The post holders will support the team with operational and performance management across inpatient, day case, and outpatient services. An important part of the role is to work with clinical, nursing and managerial staff to drive forward improvements in patient care; this includes evaluating and making improvements across patient pathways - both locally and those that form part of a wider clinical network (NCL and NEL). The post holder will work collaboratively both internally and externally to develop existing and build new relationships with partners for the benefit of patients.
