ROTI KING is looking for talented and experienced Assistant General Manager who will co-lead one of our busiest restaurants in Waterloo.

You will oversee all operations, providing leadership to the team while delivering exceptional guest experiences. The brand's ethos is built around the values of Quality, Community, Diversity and Hospitality, and we are seeking a passionate leader to champion these principles.

Roti King was founded in 2014, and - what's in a name dishes - we create authentic Malaysian street food including the very popular, freshly-made Roti Canai. The menu originates from Ipoh, the culinary home of Malaysian Cuisine, and has been brought to the UK by the original founding family behind the famous Gopal's Corner, Malaysia.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the hospitality industry, particularly within restaurant management, and will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service, maintaining food safety standards, and leading a team to success. This role requires a hands-on leader who is passionate about food and customer satisfaction.

Duties

Assist in overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and hospitality standards. Supervise and train team members in food preparation techniques, culinary skills, and customer service excellence. Provide support in managing inventory levels, ordering supplies, and minimising waste. Foster a positive team atmosphere by encouraging collaboration and effective communication among staff members. Address customer inquiries and feedback promptly to enhance overall satisfaction.
