Role Overview



As Assistant Golf Operations Manager you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our golf facilities. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and team management with a strong emphasis on delivering exceptional experiences for members, families, golf enthusiasts, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities



Staff Management:



Responsible for the day-to-day leadership and management of your teams.

Provide coaching training and clear direction to ensure that staff members are knowledgeable, motivated, and capable of delivering Iford Golf Centre's objectives.

Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and employee satisfaction.

Responsible for creating and managing an effective staffing and succession plan.

Recruit, onboard, train, and develop team members to attract and retain good performing staff.

Conduct regular performance reviews to assess progress and provide effective feedback.

Sales and Marketing:



Collaborate with the Operations Manager to develop promotional campaigns and special events to attract new customers and retain existing ones.

Customer Experience:



Responsible for ensuring that the customer experience is consistently excellent throughout the entire customer experience.

Oversee golf booking reservations and equipment management.

Address any comments, concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.

Implement measures to solicit and act upon customer feedback to continuously improve service quality.

Train and mentor staff members to deliver exceptional service at all touchpoints.

Administration and Systems Management:



Manage online systems for rostering and staff absences.

Ensure the smooth operation of golf booking systems, troubleshooting any issues as they arise.

Health & Safety



Ensure that all staff members are aware of and trained in Health & Safety policies and procedures.

Ensure that first aid supplies and equipment are readily available.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 29,000.00-30,000.00 per year
