Job Description

We are recruiting for a Golf Operations Manager to join our team lead the Golf Department and become the face of golf at Dale Hill.

You will be leading a team of Golf Professionals and golf assistants to provide excellent customer service to members and visitors.

If you are a qualified PGA professional, there are teaching opportunities available with a large membership. In addition to the basic salary on offer there are opportunities for bonuses for club fitting and retail sales.

The Golf Operations Manager is responsible for:

The coordination, functional management and leadership of golf operations at Dale Hill. The achievement of agreed revenue targets and profitability which includes but is not limited to Golf Retail Sales, Club Sales, Membership, Green Fees and Driving Range. For promoting the Club, its members' achievements, and general information on the Club's social media platforms. Pro-actively promote and sell golf packages, ensuring all enquiries are dealt with in a professional and timely manner. Delivery of 5 star Golf Events and Golf Membership Experience. Implementation and control of golf systems including Intelligent Golf and Concept.
The role will include retail, competition administration and management, day to day golf operations, opportunities for custom fitting, coaching with opportunities to play on our two beautiful courses. This role has not been available for many years and is a fantastic opportunity to develop and progress your career at one of the South East's premier golf resorts.

Essential Skills

Organised and punctual Excellent customer service skills Excellent IT skills including Word, Excel, and other Microsoft packages Strong Social Media Knowledge Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal skills. Flexible with hours worked, including evenings and weekends. Comprehensive Knowledge of Golf, Golf Competitions, Rules and formats

Desirable Skills

Previous Golf club experience in proprietary or private clubs Knowledge of membership database packages Concept and Intelligent golf system experience Personal drive and enthusiasm to improve the performance of the Club.
