Independent Veterinary Group Assistant Practice Manager
We are excited to offer an outstanding opportunity for a motivated individual to join our leadership team as an Assistant Practice Manager. In this pivotal role, you will support the daily operations of our veterinary clinics and contribute to delivering an exceptional client and patient experience across all four of our branches, and the chance to make a meaningful impact within a collaborative, animal-focused environment.
This is a full-time position and requires you to be based on site across the 4 branches, 5 days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
Rota Management:
Efficiently coordinate rotas for the vets to ensure full coverage and optimal performance across all 4 practices.
Complaint Resolution:
Address and resolve both clinical and service-related complaints with professionalism and empathy.
Performance Monitoring:
Maintain an overview of both clinical and service areas to ensure high performance standards across the group.
Team Delegation:
Effectively delegate tasks and areas of accountability within the team to ensure smooth operations.
HR:
Manage HR processes alongside the practice manager, including recruitment, training, and staff development
Requirements:
Proven experience in managing a large veterinary practice or multiple sites
Business and financial acumen
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire veterinary teams, from vets to receptionists.
Knowledge of veterinary practice software, IT systems and HR processes is desirable
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, with a commitment to delivering the highest level of care.
A passion for continuous improvement and a drive to support the development of the team and the practices.

Pay: 36,000.00-40,000.00 per year
