You Role:
You will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality gymnastics coaching while helping to shape and grow the M.I.C Gymnastics brand. Your responsibilities will include:
Accessing the pre-prepared planning for physical training sessions, following the M.I.C program (access provided via shared platform/email), and assisting the Head Coach with the delivery of these sessions.
Setting up and packing down equipment before and after every session.
Communicating effectively with gymnasts, parents, and venue staff.
Bringing innovative ideas to help us grow and expand our offerings.
Administrative duties, including taking registers.
Liaising with the M.I.C Gymnastics team, including weekly emails, texts, or phone correspondence.
Attending and contributing to monthly team meetings (club operations, development, coach-wellbeing, and strategic growth discussions).
Attending quarterly personal development reviews, including opportunities for training and promotions.
Qualifications, Education and Experience:
British Gymnastics valid coaching certificate (Level 1 in General or Women's Artistic)
Safeguarding Certificate (can be arranged and updated via M.I.C.)
Full Enhanced DBS Certificate (can be arranged and updated via M.I.C.)
At least one year of coaching experience in a club setting
A willingness to continue learning, including Rhythmic Gymnastics coaching courses and other CPD opportunities
Compensations and Benefits:
Hourly Rate: 13.00 - 15.00, depending on coaching qualifications and class leadership.
Employed and self-employed position available.
Opportunities for career progression - Head Coach - Level 2 Qualification.
Continuous training and CPD, covered by M.I.C, ensuring all coaches develop and stay at the forefront of gymnastics coaching.
Working Conditions:
Hours of work: 7 hours per week (including set-up times - Thursday (4:45pm-8:15pm) and Saturday (8:45am-12:15pm)
Potential of hours increasing as the programme increases.
Time off must be requested 14 days in advance where possible.
Overtime: Additional hours may be required for special events or competitions, paid at full rate with potential bonuses.
Availability: Must be available for evening and weekend work.
Work Environment: A fun, inclusive, and high-quality gymnastics club focused on continual improvement, passion for the sport, and supporting young gymnasts in their development.

Travel Requirements: Self-funded unless traveling for competitions/
events as a coach (covered by M.I.C Gymnastics).
