To be based within the Memorial Hall. To be point of contact for all users' groups and to give full support in the operation and running of the centre.
As a Post Office Counter Clerk, you will also work behind the counter offering a wide range of postal services to customers, plus other services such as bill payment, banking services, etc.
Hours:
Minimum of 18 hours per week. (Day time, evenings & weekends)
There will be a need to be flexible and be able to cover holiday leave.

This post will have a probationary period of 3 months.
Key Tasks
To open and close the building.
To set up for some hirers.
To help with cleaning the building inside & out.
To help run post office services.
To provide all round administrative support as and when needed.
To be a point of contact for the memorial hall, ensuring effective operation of the hall.
Responsibilities Include
To meet and greet visitors in a courteous manner and having an insight of the work that is being undertaken by the user groups; to inform the wider community about the activities which take place at the hall.
Learn how to be responsible for security.
Help with the general administration for the hall.
To take bookings etc.
To help with the general housekeeping and maintaining the cleanliness of the centre.
Aid in the preparation of food and drinks for conferences.
Any other work that is identified as being of value to the Memorial Hall or its committee.

Welsh speaking desirable but NOT essential.
