Your purpose will be:
To support the Head Butler in leading a world-class Butler Team, delivering ultra-personalised service and curating unforgettable guest experiences. You will help drive excellence across all touchpoints of the guest journey, ensure consistency in service standards, and foster a culture of emotional intelligence, attention to detail, and genuine care.
You will be accountable for:
Personalizing and perfecting our guest experience by providing exceptional service
Assisting the Butler Team with the day-to-day operation
Driving revenue through Rooms and Food and Beverage operations by upselling and cross-selling
Liaising proactively with all hotel departments (including Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, Culinary, Concierge, and Security teams) to choreograph a seamless guest experience
Communicating guest requests and follow-ups with clarity and urgency
Creating the perfect environment and ambience for all our guests, from arranging floral arrangements to any in-suite entertainment (e.g., private dinner, press event, in-room massage, etc.)
Creating and constantly keep updating a strong preference database
Ensuring all Butlers are trained in-suite services, technology, amenities and training Butlers in their performance and work-related activities
Inspecting all butler areas, including occupied and non-occupied suites
Wardrobe management skills including but not limited to packing and unpacking
Monitors VIP suite guest arrivals so that special arrangements of the setup, also flowers and food & beverage amenities, are ready upon arrival
Ensuring that all Butlers are trained to confirm the Butler SOPs, LQA & Forbes standards
Attending to challenging situations with outstanding problem-solving skills to perform swift service recovery
Ensuring Health & Safety rules and regulations are adhered to and carrying out required risk assessments
Mentoring and motivating the Butler team, setting the highest service standards through daily briefings, coaching, and hands-on training
Fostering a culture of excellence, protocol and etiquette, emotional intelligence, and attention to detail
Assisting in recruitment and continuous skill development of junior members
Stepping confidently into the Head Butler role when needed, ensuring consistency in the operation is maintained
Oversight of payroll processes and rota (staff scheduling) management
Qualifications
What you will need to do in this role?
3 - 5 years supervisory experience in a luxury hospitality environment with at least 1-2 years in a butler or guest experience supervisory role
Proven experience in delivering ultra-personalised service in a five-star Forbes-rated environment
Outstanding communication skills, both written & verbal and exceptional grooming and poise
A confident & dynamic speaker, able to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of an organization
Enthusiastic and positive personality with the ability to build trusting relationships with others.
Proven organizational skills, works well on their own. Able to set and meet deadlines with quality results
Knowledge and experience with the software's - Opera, actabl, alliants, WhatsApp
Applicable job related skills as per Accountable Duties
