About the Role

As Assistant Headteacher (Teaching & Learning), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational experience for our students and staff. Reporting directly to the Headteacher, you will:



Deputise for the Headteacher and Deputy Headteachers when required. Be an integral part of the Senior Leadership Team, contributing to whole-school strategic development. Lead and oversee key areas, including (but not limited to):




+ Teaching & learning strategy + CPD programme and INSET days
+ Staff appraisals and performance management
+ Quality assurance
+ Homework systems and ClassCharts
+ Staff induction and tutoring programmes
+ ECT/ITE programmes



What we are looking for:



A proven track record of impactful leadership in teaching and learning. Strong strategic thinking and the ability to drive whole-school improvement. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to motivate and inspire staff. Commitment to professional development and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
