A vacancy has arisen for an Assistant International Trade Compliance Officer to join the Compliance team, based at our Denham campus. We offer hybrid working after six months of employment and we're open to offering part time working arrangements.




What you'll be doing



This is a varied role with touchpoints across the whole organisation involving colleagues across Engineering, Programmes, Commercial, Shipping and further departments / specialist areas. You'll assist with business processes and the classification of goods, technology and services relating to UK, US and further territorial trade controls, ensuring that regulatory compliance, on-time delivery and customer satisfaction is achieved with both internal and external stakeholders.


Further responsibilities will include classifying products with export ratings and tariff codes, drafting export licence applications using specific license portals and involvement with checking/processing advice memos for shipments, ensuring that correct processes and trade regulations are followed across the business.




What we're looking for




Interest in geopolitical and international trade changes and products manufactured by Martin-Baker. Attention to detail and getting things right, showing concentration and focus. Degree qualified in a subject related to Economics, Politics or Business; applicants that alternatively have strong administration and coordination experience will also be considered.
