Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive landscape designs using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Prepare detailed drawings, plans, and visualisations for client presentations and construction purposes.
Collaborate with clients, contractors, and project teams to ensure design intent is realised effectively.
Conduct site analysis including land surveying, soil assessment, and horticultural considerations.
Oversee project implementation from initial concept through construction phases, ensuring adherence to specifications and standards.
Coordinate with civil engineers on infrastructure elements
Assist in landscape maintenance planning and management post-project completion.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and sustainable design principles throughout all phases of the project.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and documentation to ensure smooth delivery of services.
Requirements
Proven experience in landscape architecture or related field; a portfolio demonstrating previous work is preferred.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp.
Strong understanding of principles within the context of landscape projects.
Knowledge of construction processes related to landscape development and land surveying techniques.
Familiarity with horticulture practices, landscape maintenance strategies, and irrigation systems design.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, contractors, and team members.
