Assistant Loading Supervisor
to help oversee our busy dispatch and yard operations.
The Role
As
Assistant Loading Supervisor
, you'll play a vital role in ensuring precast concrete products are handled, loaded, and dispatched safely and efficiently.
Working closely with the Loading Supervisor, you'll coordinate yard teams, oversee loading operations, and make sure products leave the factory on time and in perfect condition.
This is a hands-on, physical role in a busy factory environment -- perfect for someone who enjoys practical work, teamwork, and seeing a job well done.
This is a factory and yard-based role with exposure to noise, dust, and outdoor weather.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and assist with the safe loading/unloading of precast products.
Check loads against schedules and ensure correct documentation.
Operate forklifts, cranes, and lifting gear safely (training provided if needed).
Maintain yard organisation and ensure efficient flow of materials.
Promote a strong health and safety culture among the loading team.
What We're Looking For
Experience inprecast, concrete, logistics, or yard operations (desirable)
Knowledge of safe lifting and load securing
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Forklift or crane experience (training can be provided)
Reliable, proactive, and safety-conscious
Physically fit and able to handle manual work safely
Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
Commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards
