Assistant Maintenance Manager

We are seeking a skilled

Assistant Maintenance Manager

to support the Maintenance Manager in ensuring our hotel's facilities are safe, efficient, and fully operational. This hands-on role combines supervision of the maintenance team with active involvement in day-to-day maintenance and compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance operations. Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance across all hotel facilities. Support compliance with health, safety, and statutory requirements. Manage contractors on-site and maintain accurate maintenance records. Deputise for the Maintenance Manager as required. Assist with stock control, small purchases, and departmental reporting. Respond to guest and departmental maintenance requests professionally and promptly.

What we're looking for:

Experience in hotel or facilities maintenance, including supervisory responsibility. Technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and building systems. Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Hands-on, proactive, and able to support and lead a small team.
