Job Summary




We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Assistant Management Accountant to support the production of management accounts, oversee general ledger activities, and ensure accurate reporting across key areas of the business. This role plays a vital part in supporting the Senior Management Accountant through routine financial processes, analysis, park-level financial controls, and team coordination. The successful candidate will demonstrate accuracy, organisation, and strong communication skills within a dynamic finance environment.

Job Duties




Preparation of weekly reports for Management Produce accruals for pitch costs and finance advances Ownership of loyalty card postings and reconciliation Assisting with weekly and monthly sales commission runs Postings of chargebacks Monthly balance sheet reconciliations Preparation and posting of month end journals for gas bottles, loyalty cards, pitch costs and beach huts Respond to park queries and provide financial support to operations teams Support with reporting on specific business areas as required Assist the Senior Management Accountant and wider finance team with ad-hoc tasks and projects

Requirements




Strong verbal and written communication skills Confident using IT systems, with advanced Excel proficiency Previous use of Accounting software essential - training to be provided on the platform we use High level of accuracy and attention to detail Diligent and methodical approach to financial tasks Experience of creating and posting journals and understanding of basic accounting principles Strong reporting and analysis skills Organised and capable of managing priorities and deadlines Supportive team player with people management potential or experience
