Job Description
The Assistant Management Accountant will support the finance team by preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, and assisting in budget management. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop financial expertise in the industrial and manufacturing sector.
- Prepare and present monthly management accounts to assist in decision-making processes.
- Ensure all reconciliations, including bank and balance sheet accounts, are completed accurately and on time.
- Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts to support the organisation's financial planning.
- Provide variance analysis to identify and explain deviations from budgeted figures.
- Support the finance team with end-of-year audit preparation and liaise with external auditors as required.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and guidance.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the Accountancy & Finance department.
The successful Management Accountant will have experience in the above and be on short notice
