Assistant Management Accountant based at Epworth House, Derby

This is a 2 year Fixed Term Contract - 37 hours per week - Hybrid Working

Salary 33,655 per annum

The Role

Methodist Homes - MHA has an exciting opportunity within the Commercial Finance Team for an Assistant Management Accountant. Reporting into the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager you will be a key member of a dedicated Management Accounting Team focused on month end processing, forecasting and reporting of monthly financial performance of all areas of the charity.

About You

Minimum AAT qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA / CIMA) Excellent understanding of finance and experience of management accounting within a multi-site organisation Good organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure to tight monthly deadlines Excellent IT skills with experience of working with computerised accounting systems and Microsoft Excel to a good standard An effective communicator with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with people at all levels Analytical with strong problem-solving skills
