  • Cash Management & Forecasting: Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts and manage daily cash positions to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Financial Reporting: Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, plus statutory reports under Austrian GAAP (UGB).
  • Regulatory Compliance: Handle mandatory filings such as sales tax returns, ZM, and excise tax reports-ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Audit & Governance: Act as the point person during internal and external audits, working closely with auditors for timely submissions.
  • Business Partnering: Build strong relationships with local authorities, banks, and internal teams to resolve queries and maintain compliance.
  • Process Improvement: Support automation projects and system enhancements to make finance processes smarter and more efficient.
  • Inventory & Analysis: Assist with stock counts, inventory provisioning, and balance sheet reconciliations to keep financial data accurate.

We're looking for an experienced Assistant Management Accountant with strong accounting skills and a genuine people focus. You'll be confident with SAP and Excel, detail-oriented, and proactive under tight deadlines. Ideally, you have:
  • A degree in Finance or Accounting (CPA preferred)
  • 3+ years' experience in accounting, ideally in manufacturing
  • Fluency in German (highly desirable)
  • Strong interpersonal skills-you're as comfortable with numbers as you are with people
