British Growers Association are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and detail driven
Assistant Management Accountant
to play a key role in supporting and developing our financial services to the UK horticultural and fresh produce industries, following the recent addition of new clients.
This is an exciting opportunity and we're open to considering candidates from a broad range of backgrounds, whether you're an A-Level qualified school leaver with a strong interest in finance, or someone with hands-on accounting experience gained in practice or industry. What matters most is your attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn, as we're happy to adapt the role into a trainee position for the right candidate.
Key responsibilities include:
Preparation of management accounts and cashflows
Bank reconciliations and processing of bank payments
Credit control and purchase ledger
VAT returns
Support external audit requirements
Working with accounting software (Sage Line 50 and/or Xero preferred)
