The Opportunity





Intragen - a Cybersecurity Consultancy - is looking for an

Assistant Management Accountant

to join our growing finance team. This role supports the finance function across a

multi-jurisdictional group

with entities in the UK, Netherlands, Finland, Sweden, Germany, and Greece.



We're a

private equity-backed

business with a turnover of c40m and ambitious plans for growth. This position is a fantastic opportunity to gain

commercial experience

and help improve our internal finance processes as we scale. The finance function consists of 4 to 5 in-house staff supporting a shared service centre to manage all financial routines required for all entities within the group with further local outsourced accounting and finance service providers.

Key Responsibilities



Cash, Banking and Treasury




Report cash balances for all group bank accounts weekly. Prepare weekly cashflow forecasts. Manage and reconcile intercompany bank accounts and ensure payments are made regularly. Perform month-end bank reconciliations and ensure timely posting of reconciling items. Manage treasury across entities, ensuring appropriate liquidity.



Accounts Payable & Expenses




Oversee the accounts payable process, ensuring supplier invoices are received, approved, and entered in the system. Prepare payment runs for review and approval. Own the staff expenses process, ensuring timely reimbursement and adherence to controls.



Month-End and Management Accounts




Support the month-end closing process for multiple legal entities. Reconcile balance sheet accounts including intercompany, fixed assets, and WIP. Assist in preparation of monthly P&L, providing variance analysis at entity level. Ensure strong internal controls are maintained and operating effectively.



Payroll and Staff Costs




Manage outsourced payroll providers, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of joiners, leavers, and changes. Calculate and ensure approval of monthly consultant bonuses and other variable pay.



Business Partnering




Provide support to the Finance team and country managers with financial insights. Collaborate with outsourced service providers and internal stakeholders.



Audit and Compliance




Support the Finance team with the annual audit process. Maintain compliance with internal policies and local financial regulations.



Process Improvement and Support




Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial routines and systems. Support the Finance team in managing the shared service centre and outsourced accounting relationships.



Essential Skills & Experience




Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar finance role. Hands-on experience with NetSuite - essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills - fluent in English. Strong attention to detail and a "completer-finisher" mindset. Self-motivated, organised, and able to work both independently and within a team. Able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong Excel skills and confidence using accounting systems.



Advantageous Experience




Previous experience in a Professional Services or Cybersecurity environment. Exposure to multi-jurisdictional operations. Experience in private equity-backed businesses. Familiarity with variable pay and international payroll processes.



Systems Experience




NetSuite (essential) Xero, Procountor HubSpot (CRM) Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, Power BI
