Your role as an Assistant Manager is to support the Store Manager in the daily running of the store and to manage the store successfully in their absence. You will be a competent leader and set an example to the store team in all aspects of Customer Service and standards whilst also maintaining a focus on store operations, sales and targets.

As an Assistant Manager you will enrol on to a training programme. If you have previous relevant experience we would like to hear from you. There are endless progression opportunities for anyone who wants to grow and develop here at Amorino's.

Key Accountabilities

Key Holder Adhere to correct opening and closing procedures Management support in all aspects of the daily running of the store as required including, but not limited to, Labour, Food Costs, Wastage, and Payroll Maintaining Store Standards in accordance with Company Guidelines Effective Management of the Food Preparation area in accordance with Health And Safety and Food Safety Guidelines Support in the training and development of existing team members Support in the recruitment and training of new starters Ensuring Food orders are completed correctly and on time Communicate effectively with all levels of the team including Area, Regional Managers and Head Office Quality checking products and ensuring that the correct dating procedure is followed Take an interest in local marketing opportunities and feeds back to Head Office with ways to increase sales and/or brand awareness Lead by example in all aspects of the business and identify training needs in the team Ensure the positive brand image of Amorino is upheld and actively seek ways to develop the brand in the local area

Personal Specification

Customer Service Experience Integrity & Confidentiality Good communication and listening skills Good organisational skills used in planning own work Calm and professional disposition Self-motivated and enthusiastic Ability to work under pressure and meet targets and deadlines Able to work in a busy Store environment that often demands high levels of concentration Able to respond effectively to changing priorities Able to manage high volume workload Able to work effectively with minimal management guidance/supervision Willingness to accept responsibility Previous management experience (desirable)
