Responsibilities

Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations within the kitchen and restaurant environment. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient food production. Engage in food preparation activities, ensuring that all dishes are prepared according to established recipes and standards. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen area. Help manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies as needed to maintain operational efficiency. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work atmosphere that encourages teamwork and high performance. Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Contribute to menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and culinary trends.

Skills

Proven experience in a culinary or restaurant environment, with a strong understanding of food preparation techniques. Leadership abilities, with experience supervising staff in a fast-paced setting. Knowledge of food production processes and kitchen operations. Excellent organisational skills, with an ability to multitask effectively under pressure. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate clear interactions with team members and customers. A passion for food and hospitality, demonstrating commitment to delivering high-quality service. Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the business needs.
