Brief Description

The Great Western Arms is a beautiful, rustic country pub providing a excellent experience for dining and overnight stay. We have worked very hard to push ourselves to build a high end gastro pub experience to meet the demands of our customers. We also have four luxury bed and breakfast rooms for people looking to get away into the countryside but also close enough to venture into Woodstock & Banbury.

The Great Western Arms is also part of a very small private limited company (Duval Inns) who are looking to build on adding new establishments in the Oxfordshire area.

Expectations

- Will assist the general manager with all duties required in the day to day management of the premises

- Someone who has a ambitious, confident and motivational attitude

- A hands-on manager with an understanding of both front of house and back of house operations

- Basic financial experience

- To be able to lead and set a example for others to follow

- To have good knowledge of all beverages & mixology

- To create a atmosphere that makes the customers feel safe and comfortable

- Is able to maintain and improve level of hygiene and cleanliness

- Is able to bring new ideas with products and promotions

- Organised and attentive to detail

- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
