Responsibilities

Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations of the restaurant or hotel, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Supervise and support staff, including training new team members in hospitality best practices, food safety, and customer service. Help manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain cleanliness throughout the establishment. Ensure that all food preparation meets culinary standards and adheres to health regulations. Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance guest satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality food presentation. Assist in scheduling staff shifts and managing payroll processes as needed. Contribute to creating a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development.

Skills

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is essential. Strong leadership abilities with excellent interpersonal skills to motivate team members effectively. Knowledge of bartending practices is an advantage, along with a solid understanding of culinary techniques. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling is crucial. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capabilities. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and staff alike.

Pay: 27,500.00-32,000.00 per year
