We are looking for a driven and experienced

Assistant Manager

to help lead the day-to-day operations of our bar, supporting the General Manager. The ideal candidate will bring a solid background in hospitality and team leadership, along with a passion for exceptional guest service. This role requires a strong understanding of food preparation, operational oversight, and staff supervision within a restaurant or hotel setting.

As Assistant Manager, you will be instrumental in creating a warm, inviting atmosphere for our guests while ensuring that the bar and floor run efficiently. Your leadership will drive sales growth through innovative strategies and by maintaining a service standard that sets us apart from our competitors.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the bar and floor, including team scheduling, inventory control, and customer service delivery. Lead, train, and support the bar and floor staff to maintain high service standards and comply with health and safety regulations. Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the bar and floor, always adhering to hygiene and safety guidelines. Work closely with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and timely service. Address guest inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring a positive and lasting guest experience. Monitor inventory levels and manage ordering to ensure smooth, cost-effective operations. Develop and execute promotional campaigns to drive footfall and boost revenue.

Qualifications

Proven leadership experience in a hospitality setting, ideally within a bar or restaurant. Strong team management and people development skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-focused approach. Understanding of food service operations; kitchen experience is a plus. Bartending knowledge and beverage preparation skills are essential. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering top-tier guest experiences.
