We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of our little bistro in the heart of Bebington.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant and kitchen experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
This role involves supervising staff, ensuring food safety standards are maintained, and assisting with overall management to ensure smooth and efficient service.
The Assistant Manager will play a vital role in fostering a positive team environment and upholding the organisation's high standards of quality.
The hours will be 8am until 4pm Monday to Friday
Responsibilities
Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of food preparation, presentation, and service.
Supervise and manage team members, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
Assist in supervising food safety protocols and maintaining compliance with health regulations.
Support kitchen staff with food production, ensuring timely delivery of orders while maintaining quality.
Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to uphold the organisation's reputation.
Assist in inventory management, including stock control and ordering supplies as needed.
Contribute to menu planning and development in collaboration with culinary staff.
Maintain a clean, organised work environment adhering to safety standards at all times.
Experience
Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations.
Experience in food safety practices and compliance with health regulations.
Familiarity with food production processes and hospitality industry standards.
Previous roles involving team management or leadership within a restaurant or hotel environment are highly desirable.
