We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for food and drink service and experience within pub, restaurant, hotel, or culinary environments. Responsibilities
Assist the Manager in overseeing daily kitchen and bar operations to ensure smooth functioning
Supervise and support team members, including front-of-house staff, as well as kitchen personnel involved in food production and preparation
Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service and hospitality standards
Coordinate food preparation and cooking activities to meet quality standards and health regulations
Ensure compliance with food safety protocols and maintain cleanliness in all areas of the establishment
Help to manage staff schedules, delegate tasks, and monitor performance to optimise team productivity
Assist with training new employees on food safety, service procedures, and company policies
Handle customer enquiries or complaints professionally to uphold the organisation's reputation
Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients, supplies, and equipment
Manage social media accounts to drive online presence.
Experience
Proven supervising experience within a pub, restaurant, hotel, or catering environment
Experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations
Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations
Experience in team management, leadership roles, or supervisory positions in hospitality settings
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
