We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team. Duties



Assist in overseeing daily operations of the restaurant or hospitality venue, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Supervise kitchen staff and front-of-house team, providing guidance and support to enhance performance. Manage food preparation processes, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation. Implement food safety protocols and maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen and dining areas. Train new employees on culinary techniques, serving practices, and customer service expectations. Collaborate with the management team to develop menus, manage inventory, and control food production costs. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring exceptional service at all times. Assist in scheduling staff shifts and managing team performance to meet operational needs.

Skills



Proven experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality sector. Strong culinary skills with a solid understanding of food preparation techniques and food safety standards. Excellent leadership abilities with experience in team management and training. Knowledge of food production processes and kitchen operations. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence. Previous experience as a barista or in hotel management is advantageous but not essential. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for the hospitality industry with a commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences.
