Hananiah Ltd (Shelleys Bakery) is a speciality business specialising in home made Artisan and Traditional cakes, breads and savoury products. We have been trading for nearly 40 years and are always looking to improve and vary our range. We serve to markets, events, business, shows, outside catering and of course our shop.

Shelleys is currently seeking an Assistant Manager with the all round ability to support and fill a variety of different roles within our business. We are a diverse and unique bakery operation and seek someone who can work in our shop, occasionally at one of our markets, perhaps deliver our products, and maybe help make them! Also to help cleaning and packaging, help finish or decorate the cakes, help set up or turn down the shop, make sandwiches..... This is a very varied position and no two days will be the same! Customer service and or sales experience is essential as you will be meeting a lot of people. The precise role will depend on your experience, availability and ability.

Note that hours can be long (or shorter for the right person)and it can be physically demanding at busy times so being fit and healthy is important. However, conditions and incentives are excellent and there will be plenty of support and training where needed!

Excellent salary, with 20 days paid holiday plus bank holidays and a range of other incentives! We have an excellent crew who are enthusiastic, positive and very supportive. Commitment to the role(s) is crucial as you will be a key member of the team, able to multi task and step into a variety of different positions seamlessly. Early starts (6am) or later finishes (4pm), strict hygiene controls and great customer service ability is essential too. Age is irrelevant providing you meet the other criteria. If you live outside the area you need to be able to drive. English language is necessary. This is a full or part time permanent position. Training will be provided for the right match and there is great potential to grow with the business and can be a career if desired.
