The Acton at Morville is hiring a warm and welcoming Assistant Manager

The Acton at Morville is a new stunning pub in a great location. The pub is an iconic site with roaring fires, a spectacular Restaurant with its own authentic wood fired Pizza oven. The magnificent decor makes it the best place to relax and chill with friends and family.

As Assistant Manager, you will need to build and manage the relationships with your team. We are looking for someone with passion and drive: a real self-starter who can engage with their teams, offer coaching, and support and drive the business through its people. Whilst supporting our General Manager

You will manage the performance of your team to deliver the highest standards and customer service in a fast-paced environment, delivering operational excellence in everything you do both externally and internally.

You will be a passionate people manager, analytical in your approach and calm under pressure.

You will recruit and maintain the best people in the industry, using your high-quality communication skills. You will work closely with the Restaurant Manager to implement new and creative solutions to drive performance.

The Assistant Manager Job role:

Proven experience in a similar role Will be a Keyholder. Passion for delivering a high standard of service and willingness to develop. Excellent people skills with the ability to engage with guests and build instant rapport. Ability to train and lead team members to reach their full potential. Produce and own your team's weekly rota. A sound understanding of P&L and commercial awareness.
