We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team. Duties
Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations of the restaurant.
Supervise and train staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
Manage food preparation and cooking processes to guarantee quality and safety standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service delivery.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
Implement health and safety regulations within the workplace.
Support in scheduling staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
Ability to effectively open and close the restaurant before and after service.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
Strong bartending and waiting experience, with knowledge of wine, spirits and cocktails.
Knowledge of UK food health and safety standards
Experience in team management, demonstrating effective leadership abilities.
Previous restaurant and/or bar experience; hotel or barista experience is a plus.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
