We are seeking a experienced and dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team in the hospitality sector. The ideal candidate will 18 plus and possess a strong background in hotel and restaurant operations, with a passion for culinary excellence and team management. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our establishment, providing exceptional service to our guests while supporting the management team in daily activities.

Responsibilities

Assist in overseeing daily operations within the hotel or restaurant environment, ensuring high standards of service and food safety are maintained. Support the management team in staff training and development, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and preparation processes, maintaining quality control throughout. Help manage inventory levels, including food supplies and kitchen equipment, to ensure seamless operations. Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Implement health and safety regulations within the kitchen and dining areas, promoting best practices among staff. Assist in scheduling shifts for team members, ensuring adequate coverage during peak times.

Requirements

Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred, with a strong understanding of food safety regulations. Background in culinary arts or food preparation is advantageous, along with knowledge of kitchen operations. Proven ability to manage teams effectively, demonstrating strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate staff. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail, able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making within operational contexts.

Pay: 24,420.00-26,000.00 per year
