Job Description

The Royal is a stylish gastro pub in the village of Bolton-le-sands. We focus on modern British pub food using fresh and local ingredients. We are a very busy pub so the right candidate will need to be well organised, committed and be able to work well under steady pressure alongside the rest of the management team and owner.

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Assistant Manager to join our experienced management team. As an assistant manager, you will overtake a variety of responsibilities and duties such as marketing strategies, training, overseeing food quality and high service standards, developing menus as well as greeting and serving restaurant guests.

Assistant Manager duties and responsibilities

:

Manage and oversee the entire restaurant operation alongside fellow managers/supervisors Deliver superior guest service Ensuring guest satisfaction Respond efficiently to customer questions and complaints Organise and supervise shifts Manage and lead staff Training and evaluate staff performance Estimate consumption, forecast requirements and maintain inventory Manage restaurant supplies Control costs and minimise waste Nurture a positive working environment Monitor operations and initiate corrective actions Implement innovative strategies to improve productivity and sales

Assistant Manager requirements and qualifications:



2 year of experience as a Restaurant Assistant Manager or similar role Personal Licence Holder Good food and wine knowledge Computer literacy Experience in event planning Strong leadership, motivational and people skills Good financial management skills Critical thinker and problem-solving skills Team player Good time-management skills Great interpersonal and communication skills
