Duties
Assist in overseeing daily operations of the establishment, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and company policies.
Manage and train team members in hospitality standards, kitchen procedures, and food preparation techniques.
Foster a positive work environment by providing support and guidance to staff, encouraging teamwork and collaboration.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen and dining areas.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring a satisfactory resolution to enhance guest experience.
Collaborate with the management team to develop menus, promote special events, and implement marketing strategies.
Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels to ensure efficient operations.
Requirements
Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within the hospitality industry is essential.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is highly desirable.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
Experience in bartending or working within a hotel environment is an advantage.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
