A Busy High Street Pub is looking for an Assistant Manager to join the team in Cheltenham. We are more than happy to train the right candidate, someone that is currently in hospitality that would like to take the next step in their career. The pub is part of a small family run pub group in the South West of England. We are proud to support UK independent companies for all our products and produce. Must be customer service orientated and passionate about good food and craft beers. We want someone who takes pride in their work and strives for excellence.
As the Assistant Manager you will be working closely with the GM an assisting them with the day to day functions of the pub. Ensuring that targeted goals and objectives are met and exceeded.

What are we looking for?
- Understanding of GP's and P&L control
-Knowledge of cashing up procedures and opening up / closing.
-Training and developing new employees
- An excellent team player with exceptional communication skills.
- A genuine passion for providing customers with an excellent experience.
- Ability to resolve customer issues and concerns
- Strong leadership and time management skills
- Overseeing the FOH and BOH operations

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years in hospitality 2 years as Assistant Manager or FOH Manager/Supervisor ( preferred) Minimum of 1 year bartending experience Flexibility with schedule
