We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of our hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid background in food and beverage service, and experience in supervising teams within a restaurant, hotel, or similar environment. Duties
Oversee daily restaurant or hotel operations to ensure high standards of service and efficiency
Assist in supervising staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management
Support food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene practices
Manage customer service interactions, addressing any concerns promptly and professionally
Coordinate with kitchen staff on food production and presentation
Assist in inventory management, ordering supplies, and controlling costs
Supervise serving staff during busy periods to optimise workflow and guest satisfaction
Contribute to the development of menus in collaboration with culinary team members
Uphold hospitality standards that promote a welcoming environment for guests
Experience
Proven supervisory experience within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations
Experience in food safety protocols and food production processes
Knowledge of hospitality industry standards including serving and customer care
Leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and motivate staff
Previous experience in restaurant or culinary environments is highly desirable
Familiarity with barista services or bar operations is advantageous
Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and organisation
