You will join our child-centred team, working with children using our PACE / DDP and therapeutic parenting model. We believe every child deserves a safe, loving environment -- and every adult deserves recognition and room to grow

Willing to work towards QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management, if not already achieved.

Responsibilities



Working alongside the Registered Manager to help ensure that the home meets high standards and remains a fantastic family environment.

Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, making sure child care is of the highest quality.

Supervision of the team, developing, leading and inspiring the team and practice.

You will manage the home in the absence of the Registered Manager.

Be part of a on call rota.

Skills



Strong staff management and leadership skills.

At least one year of children's social care experience.

An ability to communicate effectively on all levels.

Strong familiarity with working towards Ofsted standards and outcomes.

A Level 3/ 4 diploma in children and young people ( or equivalent)

A Driving License is essential.

Must be willing to work towards a level 5 diploma in leadership and management funded by the organisation.



Salary Up to 39,000 including sleep ins, depending on experience and qualifications. You will work shift work

,

including weekends and bank holidays.
