Assistant Manager Children's Residential

Job Description

Assistant Manager - Children's Residential Services

We're opening three new children's homes in Redcar and Cleveland -- and we're looking for a dedicated and compassionate Assistant Manager to help lead this exciting new service.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of something special from the very beginning: helping to shape a positive, inclusive culture and making a real difference in the lives of autistic and/or neurodivergent children and young people.

About you

Are you a warm, approachable person who leads by example? Do you believe in creating safe, nurturing environments where every child can thrive?

If so -- and you're looking for a rewarding role with real purpose -- we'd love to hear from you.

As Assistant Manager, you'll support the Registered Manager in overseeing the residential staff team and ensuring high-quality care and support for the children in our homes. You'll help create opportunities for young people to engage in meaningful activities, both within the home and in the wider community.

You must be people-centred, with strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills that enable you to build positive, trusting relationships with the children we support, their families, and external agencies.
