Duties
Assist in managing daily restaurant or hotel operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high standards of service.
Supervise and motivate team members, including front-of-house and kitchen staff, fostering a positive working environment.
Support recruitment, training, and development of staff to enhance team performance.
Monitor stock levels, place orders for supplies, and manage stock control efficiently.
Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations across all areas of the establishment.
Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain excellent guest satisfaction.
Assist in implementing promotional activities and special events to boost business performance.
Skills
Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
Experience in food production, kitchen operations, or hotel management is highly desirable.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure.
Good communication skills to liaise effectively with staff and customers alike.
Background in culinary arts or hospitality management is advantageous.
Familiarity with serving protocols, hospitality practices, and barista experience is beneficial.
