This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our establishment, supporting the Manager in daily activities, and maintaining high standards of service and food quality.
Responsibilities
Assist in overseeing daily operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to food safety standards.
Support the Manager in staff training and development, fostering a positive team environment.
Participate in food preparation and production, ensuring quality and presentation meet our standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to health regulations.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
Implement and uphold company policies and procedures within the team.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel environment is essential, with a focus on food preparation and culinary skills.
Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
Proven leadership abilities with experience in team management.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
Bartending experience is an advantage but not essential.
