Overview

We are seeking a friendly and positive Coffee Shop assistant manager to work alongside the owners & join our close knit team. The ideal candidate will possess an organised, friendly & calm approach, have experience in food preparation, cooking, and hospitality environments. This role offers an opportunity to work both front of house & also in the kitchen for breakfast shifts & baking.

The successful applicant will contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere while ensuring high standards of food quality and service are maintained. The ability to cook is a must for the role baking savoury products to our own recipes & high standards.

This position is suitable for individuals with prior experience in restaurant, kitchen roles who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. There will also be availability for overtime for special events & holiday cover.

Responsibilities

Supporting daily service operations Assist with cooking breakfasts, baking goods & ensuring all items meet quality and safety standards Help with menu planning Handle customer queries confidently & professionally Manage stock levels, restocking supplies as needed to ensure smooth daily operations Uphold food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times & complete paperwork Assist with rotas & cover Step up & run shifts in managers absence

Experience

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or hospitality roles such as kitchen or cook. Must be hands on & able to work front of house & kitchen Supervising or team management experience is advantageous Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures within a commercial setting Excellent customer service skills in a fast paced environment

Pay: From 14.00 per hour
