Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for the hospitality industry. This role involves supporting the daily operations of our establishment, ensuring high standards of food preparation and service, and fostering a positive environment for both staff and customers.

Duties

Assist in managing daily operations, including food production and service. Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations and quality standards. Oversee food preparation processes, maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness. Provide training and support to team members in culinary techniques and customer service. Collaborate with the management team to develop menus and improve service offerings. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during service. Maintain inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure smooth operations. Foster a positive team environment through effective communication and leadership.

Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or restaurant industry. Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation, cooking, and food production. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Previous experience in kitchen management or related roles is highly desirable. Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Experience as a barista or in hotel settings would be an advantage. A passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
