We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. The Assistant Manager will support the daily functions of the restaurant, ensuring high standards of food safety and customer service.
Duties
Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency and quality in food production.
Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
Train new staff members on proper procedures, food handling, and service techniques.
Collaborate with management to develop menus that meet customer preferences and seasonal availability.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to maintain stock levels.
Support the management team in achieving operational goals and enhancing overall performance.
Requirements
Proven experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation, cooking, and food production.
Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in kitchen operations.
Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development.
Previous experience in serving or barista roles is advantageous.
Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with staff and customers effectively.
